My door panels are shot..instead of replacing them with the standard style that I have now I want to convert to the Deluxe panels ( found usually on GTA's and Trans Ams). So far I know I need the following

- The panels themselves..which I can buy through Hawks http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...placement.html

- The different triangle style door latch plastic..also can be found through Hawks or Ebay.

- Different style arm rest..dont know where to get this? Help...

Is there any other changes/ parts that I need for this conversion? Also if anyone has any of the parts I need in gray and wants to sell them let me know!

You also need both door handle brackets (for each door) and the remote mirror holder for the driver's side (if you have the mirror with the stick), the door handle screws, and the covers that go over the screws.

 

I did this to our Camaro.
Got lucky & pulled it all from 1 Firebird.

 

Correct me if im wrong but Deluxe panels or "gta panels" are these pictured below(dont mind the dash I ripped it out going with 98-02) back to topic you'll need the door panel, triangle door handle trim, arm rest as well as the bracket for the arm rest they are different than the standard or usual style

 

Any ideas of where I could locate/purchase the door handle brackets from? Ebay seems to be coming up dry...

 

Yes those are the ones and they look great. And how are the brackets attached? I heard somewhere that they are riveted on...if so how did you go about swapping them on?

 

yea they are but you'll have to drill new holes i just bolted mine on
