My T shape auto shifter has a spring at the bottom to keep the plastic rod in the shifter tube. The spring hooks onto the J shaped piece of metal that fits into the bottom of the tube so that the car locks into P R or D unless you use the brake....basically keeps you from shifting into a gear you not enter if you bump the shifter....know what I'm talking about?

Where does the other end of that print connect!?! It instantly ones unhooked a couple times a year from the places I have hooked it to.....driving me bananas! Where should it be hooked to!?!

Also, my car suddenly leant o right into Park when I shift it back there...I have o hold it forward so I can her it click otherwise the dang thing will keep rolling....what's with that!?!
