My 91 does not have the cargo light switch, but I want to have the option of disabling the light when at car shows and such - because the light stays on as long as the hatch is open.

the wiring plug has two red-white stripe wires running into one side, and a black/orange striped wire into the other. trying to figure out which one I could put a switch in line with. kinda assuming the black one, but these same color wires run to the hatch motor too - i don't want to cause a problem with hatch pulldown.

anybody ever done this?
