Took 21 years....
21 years and 287000 miles and the drivers side cup holder in my 1992 Trans Am finally broke. I kicked it accidentally when getting back in the car the other day.

I still have both of mine. but there are USELESS lol. they are in a bad spot and too big width wise. so things tend to flop around. needless to say a cup of coffee is not a good idea lol

Re: Took 21 years....
Mine broke from me kicking it also after 20 years of being in service. i repaired it once and i did it again.. so i just gave up.
Time for the 4th gen console swap to give me cup holders again.

Re: Took 21 years....
I also have rules about what is allowed in my DD and it has to have a replaceable cap. No open containers. No cup holders here but I have figured out one or two ways to keep my Gatorade bottle from rolling around.
