ok simple question. um my 92 bird has the cargo light but the previouse owner had removed the pull down motor and latch and the wires are just hanging there and the bulb is just there i tried to hook it up but it wont come on do i need the motor to make it work like complete the circuit or something?

 

Wiring for the cargo light is in the pulldown. Replace it and you should be good to go.
