Engine: 5.0L V8
Automatic shifter installation
I have the t-handle automatic shifter on my car right now and i want to change it out for the handle with the top push button what would i have to do to change them out

You have to change the shifter itself. You'll have to unhook a couple of wires and 4 screws to remove the shifter.

We went the opposite way with my son's Camaro. Took the push-button top shift **** out and put in the T-handle from a Firebird. Didn't have to change anything. Just pull the "U" clip out of the front of the shift ****, pull it off, put the other one on and put the clip back in.
