Open wires under dash... What should I do?
So, the light in the drivers floorboard met an untimely end (I cut off the entire socket & bulb when I was cutting out a different wire, oops.)
So now I have 2 bare wires just chilling under my dash, so I came here for suggestions as to what to do with them.
Please no crazy ideas. Something functional and not hillbilly-esque preferably.
Thanks!

well I did that. I was talking about using them for something new in the car. I don't like having useless wires. Haha.

The bulb seemed pretty useless.
I'm thinking about running an led strip up to my gauge cluster so I can see them better, or something like that, but something unique would be fun to do.

not sure that is going to help much, as i think you have to have the dome light on for that to be lit (unless i am thinking about the wrong light)

As indicated above, that power source is switched with the dome light so not much use for anything besides courtesy lights.
If you don't want footwell lights, you could wire it to door sill or puddle lights as I've seen here on the forum recently.
