I am going to repaint some of my faded plastics on my 87 Camaro.
It has the carmine interior color. Everything is stock and all pieces are in good shape. But over the years they have faded a lot.

I saw this good thread on re-dyeing interior parts. That guy used PPG interior paint. I was planning to do the same but that type of paint is kind of hard to find here in Norway.
We have a SEM supplier though wich has this "firethorn" red color.

Isn't that about the closest match you can get carmine red??

 

W/out seeing them it's hard to say, if you could get a sample from the company you'd be able to tell pretty easily. Most companies will give people color sheets, etc.

Hawk & I just did our interior in Carmine.We got our paint mixed at Welcome to BAPS
they did a great job on the match.They will put it in spray cans or mix it by the qt.
