hvac not blowing strong
I replaced my blower motor and squirrel cage in my 85 trans am. I checked all fuses. I can hear the fan blowing hard but the.air coming out of the vents isn't strong! The system just doesn't feel like it has any ***** behind it! The motor and squirrel cage is good and my switch works good in all positions. I am wondering of I have bad vaccine lines or if I have a clog in the ducts. This car was resurrected from a corn feild so it is a good chance there is a.clog. but just incasethere are bad hvac vaccine lines does anyone have vaccine line diagrams for 85 trans am.

How would you go about cleaning the ducts? Do you have to take the dash out?

Re: hvac not blowing strong
I know some people have fixed this problem guys any comments would be appreciated. I didn't have any mice crap or evidence of mice being in my car when I got it so I don't think personally the vents are clover.

Re: hvac not blowing strong
Is it blowing thru the defog windshield vent only, or at all?
If it blows there but nowhere else, I would suspect either--
1) Select switch issues ( vacuum, as you have mentioned )
2) Clog // blockage in the vents due to rodent bedding // food storage
3) Cage not securely on drive pin of blower motor
I never had that problem but those are guesses.

Re: hvac not blowing strong
Turns out it was blowing fine I was just expecting it to blow air really hard like a house fan. I compared it to a new car as far as air force and it was the same.
