Anyway to identify gauge cluster year?

Engine: 5.7
Transmission: T5
Anyway to identify gauge cluster year?
Is there any way to identify what model year a gauge cluster came out of? It's my understanding that the C1 and C2 wiring varies from year-to-year. So I'd guess that the circuit board on the back of the plastic housing is different?
