A-pillar trim.. again
Once again I would need tips and information on installing the a-pillar trim..
(It has already been established that they are very hard to remove without breaking any clips or tabs.)
1. How do I remove the white clips from the a-pillar? A couple of them are broken but they just won't come out no matter how hard I pull on them with pliers.
2. How do I install the trim piece?
I actually tried to use x-mas tree style clips instead of these weird rails to make installation and removal super easy but it didn't work out, they will never fit the slot.

There's a locking tab in the center of the white clips. You've got to move the locking tab forward or back ( depending on how they were installed ) before the clip can be pulled out of the A Pillar. A small screwdriver works best IMO.
Break that locking tab and the clip will fall right out.
Tree style 'push' pins do not work very well.
