Digital Guages (not GTA)
I was looking through Summit the other day and came across a "Direct-Fit Digital Gauge Panel" for a Camero. Problem is I don't have a Camero. I have a '90 Formula. Are the shapes of the dashes the same? Here's what I propose, let me know if you think it'll work or not.
DIRECT FIT DIGITAL PANEL ITC-TH4004 $369.95
This is actually for the Camero, but I'm hoping it'll fit.
AUTO METER A-PILLAR DUAL POD ATM-10200 $24.95
Once again it's for a Camero, but maybe it'll fit.
Here is my dilemma. There are three gauges I want to use (fuel pressure, tranny temp, and air/fuel ratio), but I could put in a fourth (amp temp). I thought of three different ways to do this 1)Mount two AutoMeter A-Pillar pods driver's side. 2)Mount a 2-gauge pod driver side, and figure out a way to mount another dual gauge pod passenger side. 3)Try to find a triple gauge pod for driver's side and skip the amp temp gauge.
I think this would be a really slick custom looking setup that would win me some car shows with a nice interior and some paint. Plus when driving it would be like piloting the friggin space shuttle. Let me know I you guys think any of this is practical.
P.S. For some of these I know I would have to buy new sending units also. Also all the stuff except the A-Pillar Pod is from Intellitronix. They don't list the Camero digital dash on their web site (www.intellitronix.com), but it's in summit.

The camero gauge won't fit because it is not as long as the Firebirds cluster. The piller set-up will work though.

So you're saying that the instrument panel is not as wide as a Firebird? Do you think it could be trimmed if the gauges don't extend all the way to the edge?

No it wont fit because it is Camaro not camero. The Camaro dash is compact around the steering wheel, similar to the 4th gens. The Firebirds are spread out.

I have the two gauge a-pillar in mine. I don't see putting two of them on there. You may be able to trim them to fit, but it would seem they would be so high on the a-pillar it would be impractical/silly looking. I think it would be best to find a three gauge pod if they are made.
