Shorted out my guages?!?!?!? :(

I had unhooked the radar detector that was wired in by the previous owner. Well I took it off then was fixing to tape up the wires with electrical tape and they touched. Now my guages don't work. I checked my fuses and they were all good. Dashlights, Headlights and brake lights stereo all that works just not my guages. Anyone with ideas PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

did you knock the lead power wire to the fuse panel off?
high up in the kick panel area is the block you should look to for a loose/dangling wire.
Best of luck!

Are you sure that the 10 amp "gages" fuse tests good? If it does test OK, does the car run? The gauges fuse is fed from the same ignition switch feed that the ECM ignition power is fed from, so if the car runs, the feed from the ignition switch to the gauges fuse should be OK.
