Aftermarket gauges

When I got my 92 rs all stock. It has auto meter oil and water temp. He hooked them up as mechanical but there electric. I want to hook them up with new sending units. I was wondering on how much more accurate they'll be. And if those two are worth having since i already have the stock gauges. With this being said I was thinking of getting a three pod pillar and getting another gauge I was wondering if it's worth getting another fuel gauge since are cars have a float. Or also I like the look of the small rpm tach.

gauges are either mechanical or electric not both, mechanical's may have electric lights in them.

electric gauges use wires to sending units.

mechanical's, take on the actual fluid

Re: Aftermarket gauges

Right I understand that. When I got the car the guy ran all the wiring for the lights and everything but when he got to actually having to run the wires to the motor and everything he just quit so nothing got hooked up. Once he realized that he had the electric gauges he stopped right there and gave up. So what my question is is that how much more accurate are the electric autometer gauges than the stock gauge
