pillar

I just put my new vinyl covered dash in the car and was putting the pillar plastic pieces back in the car and noticed the foam on the edges of them are all dry and cracked and looked like crap. I went to a local hardware store and got some garage door foam and am going to try and make a new poece for each side. Does anybody make this foam new or anybody made there own before?

Check this link: http://www.steelerubber.com/door-wea...rip-70-0491-73 It works, I've used it on my Firebird. As I recall, there was no adhesive on it, I had to use 3M double stick tape. Good product, good service.
