Heater Core Delete
I hate dealing with heater core replacements. I also hate dealing with air in the cooling system when I have done some work with any part of it. Eliminating the heater core would also eliminate a high spot where air gets trapped. Is there anybody out there who has used a heater core delete and an electric heater/defroster with any success?

Re: Heater Core Delete
I deleted the heater core from my cooling loop, but not from the car physically, I just removed the hoses and capped them at the engine. The core still sticks out of the firewall. Can't help you on the electric heater though since I only drive mine when its warm enough..... or when its 2 days before Xmas but I haven't driven it in a while and the roads are dry lol. Bundle up!!!
