Gearshift missing piece?

Hi guys,

that's another fast question :/
I have this in my '89 GTA:

It seems that I miss something in the red circle. In fact, when I press it, it hurts on the fingertip after a while

When can I find the piece I miss? It's really ugly right now, and annoying

You can get OE shifter handles on eBay too, usually $10-$20 or so. I bought one from Autozone that looked cool (not original of course) but you can't ever get it attached tight enough to keep it from turning. I went back to stock.
