I had a working center console light. But during my interior swap, I accidentally opened it, causing it to no longer work. I have all the parts, but do not know the correct way to put it back together.

 

Do you need a switch?or do need how to put it back together?

 

I just need to know how to put it back together.

Thanks for the pictures. But I need to know how to put in back together fully, I pulled the top off and the insides just fell out. There are 2 contacts for the light bulb, and a spring. Every time I try to put it back together it's always something. Like the push out tab will be tough/stuck out or in, or the light won't work but the push out tab will fuction fine. I already blew 2 fuses trying to test it lol.

 

I would take this one apart but it's the only spare I have.All I can say is,if it's blowing fuses it's shorting out inside that switch,are the two wire for the plug in the same way they came out?

 

I just got it to work. Idk why I had so much trouble with it. Here is a picture of how the metal is supposed to be placed. hope it helps people in the future.

 

I knew you would get that,not to much in that switch.It's kind of like the insides of the Upper Console flashlight.
