Shift Plate Repairs

Hey All,

I have 2 shift plates, one has the ashtry part in great condition and the other has the window button part in great shape. A half and half kinda deal.

Has anyone had any experience franksteining interior parts? I am wondering about the stability of the part after, probably need to reinforce the repair.

Any suggestions or tips would be great.

Thanks

They do sell plastic "weld" kits... Also seen some stuff on you tube for krazy glue and baking soda.... that's cheap enough to try...
I think Hawks sells reproduction ones.... or just keep an eye out here for part outs or Ebay too..
