While replacing my compressor with a with a kit from Classic Auto Air I noticed that my orfice tube holder was damaged & I thought that I would need to replace the evaporator to fix it. Well no! Oreillys Auto Parts makes a Orfice Tube repair kit.



I noticed that the tube was damaged just below the black bracket.





Oreillys Auto Parts has a repair kit for this repair. Around $18.00







Cut the tube with a mini tube cutter about 3" below the top. Clean, deburr and install the repair piece.





Here's the finished repair.
I like it and will report how it holds.
