Aftermarket Tach Locations?

Where do you guys set your aftermarket tachs? I have a 5 speed 91 Camaro and was wondering where to put a 5 inch tach with a shift light.

Re: Aftermarket Tach Locations?

Lets see, over the last 17 years with these cars, I have mounted tachs in/at/on...
Driver side A pillar.
Driver side top corner of dash pad.
On steering cloumn with large hose clamp.
Removed ashtray and door and cut a pc. of sheet metal and put in it's place and mounted tach there in front of shifter.
Under the bottom of dash pad on the hard plastic under the pad, to the right of the center Hvac vents.
On bottom of center Hvac vents.
