Dashboard (not dash pad) holes

Ok everyone, so the P/O had a couple things screwed into the dashboard, the panel just above climate control and under the center vents, and I want fix it or replace it. The vids I found showing dash removal is probably the single hardest thing to do on these Camaro's, so I'm not feeling that. Maybe some back epoxy with a sewing needle, unless someone knows if I can replace just this small section.
Thanks for your help in advance

I think a repair would be obvious but it all depends on what you are satisfied with as an outcome. Some plastic filler will fill it, and maybe a light spray with some SEM Landau black, but in order to get a consistent sheen on the paint you would need to spray the entire dash.

Dash removal really isn't that bad. Takes maybe an hour if you take your time. Little bit longer going back together.

And it's not so bad if you aren't actually removing it so you don't have to disconnect any wiring.
Agree that any attempt at spot repair will look pretty crappy.
I think the easiest repair that would be acceptable would be to get a piece if similar plastic or a donor piece from a broken dash and glue it on top. Maybe get creative with some other kind of panel

Re: Dashboard (not dash pad) holes

Thinking out loud here but if you had a scrap piece like from a junk yard you could try patching holes before attempting on your good one. That way you could experiment matching the color as well as the texture. Could even try making an impression of the surface to use over the hole/s to help match the texture. Thinking the technique would be something similar to vinyl repair.
