Unknown Switch by Fuse Box

I recently purchased a 1986 Iroc Z/28 Camaro, and I noticed that there is a switch under the steering column near the fuse box. I am curious if anyone has any speculations of said switch's purpose. Is this stock or a custom modification? When I flick it to (in theory) "On" I notice that the battery gauge on the dash drops a little bit, but I haven't noticed anything changing other than that, so the purpose remains unknown to me. I will try to look in more detail later and check out where the wiring goes, but until then I'm just hoping for some ideas about what it could be for.

Indeed, will try to get a picture when I can, just put the car away for winter last weekend at a friend's place, so taking a pic isn't a 30 second process sadly.

I'll have to look into the radiator fan switch, but no there are no after-market fog lights. Whenever I get the chance to examine the wiring I'll take a picture and see if that can narrow things down.

Here's a picture:

Not an amazing picture, but you can see that it is inserted where the screw/latch for the fuse box cover would normally go.

Re: Unknown Switch by Fuse Box

For anyone stumbling over this post, it turns out it was a radiator fan switch, must've been installed by a previous owner.
