so i got a 86 iroc back in February and the gauges have never worked in it. the speedo and stuff does because its cable driven but the rest of the gauges dont work they react to some sort of current when the car is turned on but wont actually work. the tachometer maxes out and none of it lights up. the left turn indicator lights up but the right one wont . the volt meter reacts to current but wont show proper current. im not sure what to do. and i have no idea how to track down wires and i do not know much about electrical. i can pull a motor and work a transmission but electrical is something i know nothing about except it hurts when it goes through you lol. here are some pictures i have of the circuit board on the back of the cluster.

found this break in the circuit board now how do i repair it.

From your pics it looks like your printed board is missing some connections. There needs to be good copper under each place where the light bulb sockets go for everything to work.

There are a few routes you can take. Swap over the board from another cluster, swap in a completely different cluster, or get a kit to fix the bad connections on your existing board.

If you are able to dim the other interior lights, like on the HVAC controls, by using your dimmer switch then your switch should be good. If not change out the dimmer switch. If your gauges still don't work, then start running down wires to make sure there isn't a short or something isn't connected right.

There is a copper solder kit you can buy to fix these type of printed boards.

sctualy none of the lights inside work except for the dome lamp that that dims

i dont realy have the money for another cluster . no cars around nc and i dont know were to get the circuit board im not sure what to do i tried to see if others had one they dont need and let me have it
