Has anyone used the interior trim carpet kits from thirdgenranch? I would love to see some pictures on how they turned out. My plastic looks aweful and is becoming an eye sore compared to the rest of the car.
Thank you for the fast reply. I think I'll just try to create my own carpet pieces if paint doesn't look as good as I expect. It spends its whole life in the garage, so I'm not worried about sun fade. I didn't expect to see so much negative stuff about Thirdgenranch... I ordered a thing or 2 from them in the past, but primarily deal with Hawksthirdgen!! They are AWESOME!!

I bought a kit from Denny @ thirdgenranch a while back when he had them on sale. I went with a full kit which included the rear cargo cover and the lower kick panel pieces for a Bose equipped car.
I have installed the console carpet, but haven't got to any of the other stuff yet since I am also repainting all of the plastics too. The carpet seems to be good quality and I didn't have to trim much off at all to get it to fit.
I bought the thin light weight carpet from walmart (autozone has it too) and covered mine. Used 3M spray glue and hot glue to glue the carpet to panels.
I think I might get some of the cheap carpet from autozone or walmart and paint it to match the new carpet. Now I just need to find the right color. According to Hawksthirdgen, My carpet is Dove grey. Any ideas how to get paint to match that?

I believe SEM and Colorbond both have dove gray in their offerings. I also have used Dupli color ans it covers nice too.
Ended up getting SEM paint to paint the plastics. They had a color that matched almost PERFECTLY! I may cover some of the rear hatch pieces in the near future because the drivers side biggest piece has some of the original paint starting to disintegrate, and looks a little crappy the way it is. But after painting all the plastics in the interior, it still looks 100X better than it did. Well worth the $100 something I spent on Paint and Adhesion promoter.
Didn't know Classic had this,
