Source for HVAC vacuum valve/selector/switch?

Does anyone know where I can buy one of these for a 92 Camaro? Mine's hissing BAD, and I'm only getting air out of my vents when using A/C.

I have tried every auto parts supplier I can think of, as well as eBay, and Amazon. I can't even find a listing for one anywhere, much less one that's for sale. I've heard that the repair above only works about 20% of the time, and I'll probably end up breaking the thing in the process.

Also, does anyone know how to pull out the HVAC unit far enough to actually remove and service this part? I can barely even see the screws that hold the vacuum valve on, the HVAC unit won't come out of the dash more than an inch or so.

Re: Source for HVAC vacuum valve/selector/switch?

If that's the part that leaks, then yes...can someone confirm that? Like I said, I can't pull out the HVAC control unit far enough to get to anything on it. I was thinking the part that leaks is the one with all of the colored vacuum hoses going to it, which this attaches to.

I'm a little leery of buying a refurb though when even new ones supposedly don't last more than a year or two. Anyone have any experience with the TDS refurbs?

I think the one shown is the other one from what you need, but pretty sure he has the other one also. No personal experience but Lon has a great reputation for doing things right by members that have posted on here

Couldn't find a listing for the other switch on their site, but nonetheless mine seems to have temporarily fixed itself after trying to get at it again yesterday (which I'm sure won't last).

Guess I'll just try the bolt trick like everyone else when it goes again...
