Ok so i have problems with my colume first of all the upper colume bearing is shot i lost the old one and cant seem to find were to buy a new bearing for it and 2nd the tilt is all floppy with play ive seen videos of people taking it apart and put lock tight on the 4 bolts

Thinking of just swapping columes which would work for me on a budget thanks

 

GM columns only seem complicated until you've been inside one a few times. Trouble with swapping columns is there are more variations than most people consider. Sounds like you could rebuild the column in the car with parts from the spare.
