Seat cover bars?
Seat cover bars?
I was replacing seat covers and took the ild ones off almost 4 years ago. I lost these little metal bars that hold the covers correctly. Does anyone know what they are called and where a person can get replacements? I have a 91 camaro rs.

Good luck with the headrests. I tore one the stitches out on the second one putting it on. Had to restitch a seam. I still for the life of me have no idea how I managed to maneuver the first one on. I was putzing around with it for 15 minutes, put it down and then tried again and it was 3/4 of the way on. Your kit might be different, but the one I had, the design of the headrests left something to be desired.
Decided to put heated seats in since I had them apart, $25 bucks a side, why not?

Re: Seat cover bars?
I took a look at the bars. they are pretty thinck and substantial... I don't think a hanger would work... and would be hard to bend something that thick into the right shape...
Short of buying a used seat on ebay, are there any options? I sent an email to classic industries sales to see if they had anything... 2-3 business days for a reply they say.

Go to the salvage yard and get them or got to Lowes and get some rod stock and make your own.
On the headrest cover, put a plastic WalMart bag or grocery store plastic bag on the headreast and slip it right on. Or use a piece of Saran Wrap. Then cut excess once cover is on.
