I am in the market for some replacement seat covers. Need to know seat type and colour. Alas the SPID label that should be in the console is long gone.
Can anyone ID the seat type and colour code from this pic ? I believe these are the upgrade seats with the front bolster ?

 

Color is Gray (code 82). If you're looking for replacements with the exact pattern, you're out of luck. None of the new seat covers currently available aren't even close to the original pattern.

Check in the classifieds on here though, there's a guy who recently posted a set of stupid nice used Gray ones from a 12,000 mile '87 Formula.

 

Classic Industries has the PUI seat upholstery with supposedly correct reproduction Pallex cloth listed on the website, but they are listed as "Coming Soon"

Its interesting to see the subtle differences in the cloth. My 88 has a fine horizontal bar pattern look the fabric, But the 87 seats have an almost "honey comb" appearance to the pattern.

 

That would be Metrix cloth. The Diamond pattern is Pallex.

 

I have an 88 gta. How do I determine the color of interior for ordering new pieces?

 

88Greg, did you ever get the colour of your seats? they look very light tan like mine but never have gotten the correct color name. your seats sure do look a lot different than my 88 though
