Camaro dash and interior trim paint adhesion promoter

I am repairing my 82 camaro dash and some interior trim. I am going to use SEM interior flat black paint for the dash and trim parts. I need to know which adhesion promoter is compatible with the dash and interior trim plastic. It was suggested by SEM tech support to either use SEM sand free or SEM XXX adhesion promoter but it depended on what type of plastic it is. Not sure if Bulldog adhesion promoter is compatible with SEM paint and safe for this plastic either. SEM tech support said to use nail polish remover to test plastic and or check to see if their is a indication on the back of the dash as to what type of plastic it is. The only thing I found on the back was PPO on the back of the dash. Not sure if this is the abbreviation for the type of plastic this is. Any help would be great.

Colorbond, worked amazing on painting my leather steering wheel and has held up great. They make plastic paint as well in many factory colors and a prep as well. I haven’t used the plastic paint but probly worth a look.

ppo-polyphenylene oxide. very similar to pp-poly propalene. You can use any adhesion promoter thats currently avaible.just make sure you prep your parts correctly. do not use a wax and grease remover on any type of plastic.I use a dilluted isopropyl alcohol solution for a final wipe down before the adhesion promoter.Sem makes a good product, its always good to stick with a products line regarding any refinish steps that they might recommend. They will usually stand behind their warranty then. Ive used sem products over my 34 years of working in a body shop and never had a problem. Just remember, Its all in the prep.

I also used Bulldog with the SEM paints. Worked great. Just make sure the plastic is clean and free of any oils.
