Can you FULLY wrap a "half wrap" billet steering wheel?
So, I'm 99% likely to NOT replace my stock Iroc steering wheel, however from time to time I see a nice, conservative billet wheel that I think would look pretty sharp. That being said, I don't understand the half wrap with the exposed aluminum on the back. Wouldn't that hinder grip? I see these on LOTS of builds, not just show trucks and classic cruisers, but muscle cars and pro touring cars too. I don't think I'd like that. Can they be fully wrapped? I've never actually had one in my hands, and don't know exactly how they're wrapped like that.
EDIT* - I suppose the better question would be have you ever driven a half wrapped billet wheel, and how is it? I would think the alum on the back would be slick.
