Steering wheel question

hey there,

I am restoring a 91 firebird (swapping in L98, 700R4, and rear end from a 91 Z28).

Can the 91 firebird steering wheel be replaced with a gen 4 wheel? How hard is that? I'd like to install a pioneer double din tv and make the radio controls on the steering wheel work (like in my daily driver 07 ford edge). I know there may be an airbag issue, other issues? I also know that I'll need to make the 1.5 din larger in my firebird, my radio guy says he's done that multiple times.

thoughts?

thanks!

Re: Steering wheel question

Yes, a 4th gen steering wheel will physically fit with no problems. Getting the airbag and steering wheel controls to work may be difficult though.
