Lower dash loose ..

Gentlemen as you can see in the photo years of age and removing this piece has caused it to become loose .. I want to snug it up again and I'm wondering if anyone has ideas .. there is a piece of carpet like material inside so double sided tape was a no go .. it also needs to be removable for future issues if they arise .. thoughts ???

That piece has two torx screws on the front ends and three more across the back. Are they all there and tight?

Re: Lower dash loose ..

Maybe epoxy in the holes and let it dry, then screw it back together.

Yeah, maybe the holes have expanded or stretched or something. Maybe a tiny washer or two on the screw could help??

I did that to a few screw holes. A little JB Weld on a tooth pick, let it harden, drive the screw in.
