Ok, hope I get excused for posting link for a non-3rd gen, but its something I don't think I've noticed here in this capacity and thought it could be useful application for 3rd gen f-body.

The link is to a 1982 Delorean with an Ipad in the center console that controls door and trunk solenoids, has a speedo/out-side temp/ compass display, has an attached wireless back-up camera, Siri for music.

Check it out- may be easily adapted to an F-body console. The electronics/solenoids for an 82 Delorean are likely similar in engineering for any 82-92 f-body.
