1990 Firebird horn (w/airbag) not working
hi, tried searching but couldnt find an answer. My horn on my 1990 firebird formula isnt working. It has an airbag so not sure how it works or how to go about it since its not straight forward like the ones without the airbag.

You push on the left and right upper corners for the horn. The little buttons usually break and need to be replaced. If you remove the airbag (4 screws on the back of the steering whee) you will see the 2 buttons

Also these airbags usually warp to the point that they can't make contact with the horn buttons. Easy fix -- remove the airbag, and cut away the warped white plastic material on the back of the airbag where it's blocking the horn contacts. Still had to do that to mine to get it to work after installing new horn buttons.
