Steering Wheel retaining nut?

Not sure if this is the correct location but my nut the holds the steering wheel on is bad (friend went to put it on while I was at work and tried to force it on which removed the threads). I have asked all the local autoparts stores and none of them carry it nor can get it. All the junk yards in the are either dont have a third gen or is missing the steering column. Anyone have a part number for it or know of somewhere I can go to get it online? Its in a 1989 Firebird. I believe it is a M14x1.5 thread but its so stripped its hard to tell tbh.

think most GM use the same size...85 to 92 GM 1500 trucks could be the same thing..
