Hi, guys. I picked up the dash trim piece that goes over top the gauges of 82-89 Camaros. I want to make some aluminum trim rings to go around the gauges.

My question is: How much space is there between the hash marks and the edge of the trim? I don't want to cover them up with the trim rings. Is there an 1/8" between the edge and the print on the speedo and tach?
