Trunk lock cylinder shaft

Dear forum

I was changing the lock cylinders on my 1982 camaro Z28 as it only came with keys for the ignition. I have a problem with the trunk however. The cylinder kit didn't come with the shaft that goes from the cylinder to the hatch open mecanism.

I tried making my own, but I was only able to make it so I could lock the hatch with the key in. Does anyone know where I can get that shaft, or have the dimensions so I can make my own?

Re: Trunk lock cylinder shaft

Check the parts classifieds on here and find someone parting out a car, that's not exactly a valuable part or one that people request frequently, so should be fairly easy to find used.
