Head rest question

I had seats, including headrests, reupholstered to original material. Question is with the headrest. The seatbelt guide attaches to it, but how does it attach? Does it just screw into the foam or is there an attachment point I have to somehow locate?

Re: Head rest question

Sorta... There's a plastic insert molded into the foam, IIRC. If you can find the old holes, that'd be your best bet. But I wouldn't be too surprised if you could just hit the general area and self tap fresh holes.

Re: Head rest question

Thanks Drew. I did feel what you described. Not holes in the plastic, but the plastic itself. I'll try the screws and hope for the best.
