Where to get seat covers
Hello everyone...so I have the 82C code which are the gray camaro seats on my IROC...is there anyone that sells the exact same ones as that...or do I have to go to an upholstery shop and get a custom job. I want to warn you guys, I am no expert in the upholstery business...and have NO idea how they can look at a seat and make the exact replica...

I believe you sent them your seats, and they do everything for you.
If you're looking for an exact match for your original fabric, you won't find it at a reasonable price. There are a few (and I mean a FEW) people who have some NOS material left, but they are VERY expensive, and hard to find.
LethalInteriors does great work, but really they're known for custom leather and vinyl seats, not original or correct cloth.

Re: Where to get seat covers
Jeremy, if you're ready to buy, I have a guy here in Greensboro. He recently did some work for me on my Trailblazer and I've got him working on some other little things I've got cooking. Good guy and good work. We've discussed him recovering my 89 seats, but that's not something I'm gonna do right away.
I already have (now 10 years old) reproduction seat covers. They're the same as what everyone pretty much sells. I bought mine from Hawk's. They're good. Not great though. ...I spoke with my guy about doing either a FULL leather seat, or a leather/tweed combo like they did back in the day. He felt pretty sure he couldn't match the tweed 100%, but felt it was pretty close. Since it's only on the seats and door panels, and I'd do both, it wouldn't really matter unless you REALLY wanted to keep it all original, which I don't.

Go ahead and pop for the full Tuscan leather interior, Chris! One of my coworkers owned an auto custom shop and I just had him do my headliner, visors and sail panels. Came out great. Looking at samples for the seats now. Going original style, but a few modern touches like replacing piping with stitching.
