I got an entire harness from a digital dash Firebird, but I don't know whether the door latches are the same as all other cars, or if the latch is the same, how the switch mounts to the latch. Does anyone know how to mount the door sensors for the digital TA cars? Or if we both screwed up and I needed to also get the latches for the doors too? I would look, but I don't have my parts book at work to verify whether the PN is the same for all the cars, and if it is, how the switches mount

The door sensors work by just the switch instead of it being a single wire it is a 2 pin sensor one wire goes to the wud the other done light there is no sensor on the latch itself

 

There is a switch in the door, which I can only assume is for the door open since the DIC shows LH/RH doors being open, not just door open and the jamb switch is the same on this harness as it is both my other car harnesses.

 

I also have this switch in the latch and the jamb switch is the normal one. I am sure the latch switch is a digital dash thing.

Car is currently at the body shop but will try to take some pictures of the switch some time this week.

Latch is same but there is a switch on the side of latch for digital dash car..... held to latch by small screw....... ( one on each door for left and right door ajar or open)

 

That's good to know, but I don't know how/where the sensor is supposed to go
