Question about aftermarket seats
Question about aftermarket seats
I'm planning on a rather long road trip with my T/A, but my seats are over 30 years old and extremely flat and hard at this point.
I'd like to pick up a pair of aftermarket Recaros, an LS or LX maybe. Nothing is in stone yet.
My concern is seat height. I'm 6'8" and I'm reasonably comfortable ergonomically right now, but I'm concerned that these aftermarket seats sit higher than OEM. Even a little bit makes a big difference.
So what are my options? Do they actually sit higher? Is there a way to mod them to sit lower if they do?

Re: Question about aftermarket seats
Most sit higher due to adapter brackets that are used. Often modification to bracket is needed to get seats lower. But depends on exact seats.

I also heard you can get seat rails for a 4th gen and the seat should sit lower. not the stock 4th gen rails, but let's say you buy Corbeau seats. Just get the 4th gen Corbeau seat rails for 4th gen
