STEERING WHEELS
Were The Z28/IROC Steering Wheels Painted,Or Was It A Black Phosphate Or Black Oxide Type Coating.

I’d say paint, but it doesn’t chip like paint..
I looked into these guys when I got my IROC since I bought it sight unseen and wanted to be prepared for surprises, but actually the interior was better than I had bargained for.. I didn’t need the new leather wrap, but these guys looked like they did a legit job:

They look like they do it pretty much to spec.. I’ve seen some redone where the leather covers more of the spokes..
