Hawks "Sinister" Harness Bar. Has anyone seen or have one?
I am considering losing the 4th Gen leather seats I have now in favor of installing a couple racing, or sport seats. I would like better support for autocross and track day fun, as I am sick of bracing my knee against the door to keep from sliding around.
If I do decide to purchase racing seats, my next concern would be belts. I am not completely opposed to running factory seat belts if they are comfortable and I am being held firmly in place while on the track etc.
My concern is that to fully take advantage of the seats extra support, I may want a 4 or 5 point harness to hold me firmly in place. I have no plans to roll cage my car, and if possible keeping the rear seats would be ideal as well.
That brings me to the Hawks "Sinister" Harness Bar. It looks like a sturdy solution if I decided to go with a harness in the future, but there are no reviews on Hawks site or a whole lot of information about the product. I also have searched this site but have came up empty handed finding anyone even mentioning this product. I was considering calling and talking to someone at Hawks about the bar, but figured I would see if anyone could share any knowledge or experiences here first?
A few main questions I have about this bar:
-In the pictures on Hawks's site, it looks like the rear seats are just folded down and not removed completely. When the harness is not in use could the rear seats be folded up and used? It doesn't appear like it has the room to do that but am I wrong?
-If while the bar is installed the rear seats cannot be used, how hard is it to install or remove the bar? Where all does it mount? Could it be removed in a somewhat short amount of time where someone could install it for a track day, and then uninstall it after the day was over?
-It appears to fit inside a full interior, does any of the factory interior pieces need removed or cut to make this bar fit? What all needs modified for installation?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Looks like it uses the weld nuts that hold the posts for rear seat locks. That means rear seat it not usable.

Good call, that looks to be correct. As far as I can tell it uses those two points and two above where the fuel tank mounts. I assume you would need to remove the tank to install the bar? Or am I still missing something? Are those the only 4 points it mounts to?
Regardless it looks like a nice harness bar if that's what you're after.

My guess is that it is a one time install. A bolt would have a nut on the underside of the floor. If it is a self-tapping screw then you wouldn't want to loosen it.
Their bolt-in roll cage uses a mix of bolts and self-tapping screws.
