Ignition linkage not engaging

Ignition linkage not engaging

Has anyone replaced this piece for the ignition linkage in the steering coloumn ,ive already pulled the steering wheel and lock cylinder and now im stuck

Get on Google and search for "GM steering column rebuild" and start clicking results and reading. There are several illustrated walk-throughs that show how to completely disassemble and reassemble the entire column.

There are some differences between different years and models, but for the most part the bulk of the columns are pretty much the same over several decades.
