LED bulb swap question

I'm in the process of upgrading all my none-too-bright dash lights with LEDs, but I ran into a couple that are making me scratch my head.

First off, is it possible to swap out the lights for the fog light buttons and the trunk release button? I removed the fog light button cluster, but the lights appear to be inside the buttons themselves and I can't figure the safest way to remove the buttons without risking damage. Are these even replaceable, and if so, is there a way to safety remove them, or is it just not worth the trouble?

I also wanted to replace the little light above the heat/AC controls. I can remove the housing that it's connected to from the dash, but the light appears to be one unit and would require me to cut the wires in order to remove it. (see photo)
Is there any way to remove the bulb without damaging the housing or cutting the wires? If not, what's the best way to replace the light? I like the concept of the light, but it's too dim to be useful, especially with how easily the aftermarket stereo below it overpowers its luminance.

Thanks!

Re: LED bulb swap question

Got all my dash lights installed last night, these are the only ones left to upgrade, if possible. Can anyone speak to whether or not the lights in question are able to be swapped out with LEDs, or am I just going to have to make due with the factory lights?
