GTA's VS IROC's
So over the years I have owned a few z-28's and Iroc's never any GTA's. I know the GTA's were the top of the line for firebids but I seen very, very few with the carpet on the rear trim panels. Most Iroc's with the deluxe interiors have the carpeting. With the cost of the GTA I would think the carpet would be standard why not? Would it be the weight addition? I would think the carpet really helps with noise in the back hatch area with all that glass and plastic reflecting it.
Thanks for any insight,
Robin

Hi,
Yea the plastic panels that hide the spare tire and the small lockable storage areas. all those panels have the indents for the carpet.

I always thought the carpet + carpet + some more carpet, looked really corny.
Considering the GTA was already pushing the limits of cost and weight, I could see them forgoing a feature that would increase both with little benefit.
