Door repairs thread ??
I saw a thread some time ago about miscellaneous repairs to make while your door panels are off. I bookmarked it on my work computer which I no longer have access to. Anyone seen this thread ?

There's this one too... https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...p-bumpers.html I should probably revisit the thread and make an update about what worked, and what didn't.
The long and short of it, is that all the rubber is probably kaput, door latches and strikers will be worn, all the window and lock parts probably need to be cleaned and freshly lubricated. Pivot points for the door handle rods are likely worn, expect and inspect for egged out holes. If previous tinkerers have been inside the door, expect the glass to need adjusting, and the moisture shields to need replacement, and potentially proper tucking into the inner door. Also look close for loose rivets, dried out sealers, check the adhesive globs between the impact bar and doorskin, and the internal structure and the skin at the top of the door. Lots of rattles in there.

Thanks to all for the tips. It's on my winter to do list to fix the sticky doors locks and slow power windows. The rattles aren't too bad though I'll work on getting everything all lubed and tightened up in there.
