Have question about TA power side mirrors

i'm looking to add power side mirrors to my '84 TA. i know the mirror switch was located in the middle console so what goes on the door trim bezel where the manual mirror **** would normally be? is there just a blank plate there? i think camaros had the power mirror switch on the door in this location, but i'm not sure. if that is correct, could i mount my switch in the door bezel?
any pics would be helpful if someone has them. thanks.

Re: Have question about TA power side mirrors

Yes, on the Firebirds with the rectangular door panel bezel, they just had a blank panel in place of the mirror control ****. I'm working on a Trans Am for someone (when it gets back from paint jail that is) and will be installing the Camaro power mirror switch in the door panel bezel. My plan is to lengthen and re-route the wires from the Firebird console location into the door through the boot. I think it will work.
