Steering Column Question...

Is it common in these cars for the steering wheel/column to be angled slightly toward he driver side as opposed to straight toward the driver? This is a tilt column BTW. I know there's a little bit of side to side adjustability with he 2 bolts underneath, but this column is already touching the right side of the opening in the front of the dash...

Re: Steering Column Question...

Might be hard to see but I'm flat against firewall under where it comes through. My 83 is angled slightly left. The car is old but body is straight.
